23andme.com announced today they are filing bankruptcy. Ever since the news came out in October 2023 about hackers accessing information of nearly 7 million customers, 23andme has struggled to keep afloat.
They have tried a number of things to increase their sales back to the $3.5 billion value in 2021, but they just have not been able to recoup.
