Diane Mary Blanchard Bessette Chagnon

Burlington – Diane Bessette- Chagnon, 99, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Birchwood Terrace.

She was born on October 6, 1925, in Burlington, the daughter of Alphonse and Diana (Seymour) Blanchard.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, aunt, and sister.

She leaves her children: Lyle, Carl, Teresa, and Alan Bessette; her brothers: Leonard and Lawrence Bessette and several grand and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousin.

She was predeceased by her husbands Henry L. Chagnon (1924-2005) and Julius Lyle Bessette (1914-1977). She is buried with her first husband Julius in Resurrection Park Cemetery, So. Burlington, Vermont
