They Become Digital Clutter

This is the time of year that many of us do vacations, road trips, family reunions, backyard barbecues, and celebrations. Along the way, we capture hundreds—sometimes thousands—of photographs on our phones and cameras. We tell ourselves we'll organize them when we get home. But life gets busy.
|
|
Weeks turn into months. Months turn into years. Eventually, those photos become just another collection of unnamed files buried among thousands of others.
|
|
As genealogists, we know how frustrating it is to discover an old photograph with no names, no date, and no clue where it was taken. Yet many of us are unintentionally creating the same mystery for future generations.
|
|
The good news is that organizing your vacation photos doesn't have to be complicated. A little effort today can preserve those memories for decades to come.
