A Personal Story

When I first started researching my ancestors, I didn’t realize how many records I would end up collecting and how they were at risk. One day my mother gave me a shoebox full of old photos and documents. The shoebox had been stored in the basement for years. Everything was moldy and curled up. It was so sad because many of the photos were not able to be restored. This is one of the reasons I’m passionate about preserving family history and helping others before it’s too late!
